Student Registration & Policies Form
GENERAL PROVISIONS
- I have carefully read this Student Registration & Policies Form and consent to its terms on behalf of myself and my child.
- I wish to enroll my child, named above, in the International Violin Institute (the “Institute”) for ongoing violin coaching on a month-to-month basis.
- I acknowledge that the Instructor may invite guest artists to present or provide instruction, and I consent to such participation. The term “the Institute” includes the Instructor and guest artists.
- I understand that this Student Registration & Policies Form, the Institute’s Privacy Policy, and Verifiable Parental Consent Form (the “Institute Documents”) together form the full agreement and must be acknowledged and agreed to as part of enrollment.
ENROLLMENT & BILLING
- A $100 non-refundable enrollment deposit is required and will be collected at the time of enrollment to reserve a spot.
- The first month’s tuition will be collected at the time of enrollment based on the selected coaching tier.
- Following months will be billed on the first of each month.
- Tuition is billed monthly on a month-to-month basis.
- Enrollment may be canceled with 30 days written notice.
- Most months include four lessons; some months (including November, December, and March) may include fewer due to holidays and school breaks. Monthly tuition remains the same.
- A 3% credit card processing fee will be applied to all lesson payments.
- I understand that the Institute will charge my credit card or other approved payment method in accordance with this billing structure.

- Deposit + First Month Due at Enrollment: Upon enrollment, I will be charged a $100 non-refundable deposit along with the first month’s tuition based on the selected coaching tier.
- Monthly Tuition: Tuition is charged monthly based on the selected coaching tier.
- Lesson Frequency: Most months include four lessons, though some months may include fewer due to holidays and school breaks. Monthly tuition remains the same.
- I understand that if my child is unable to attend a lesson, no refund will be provided. Missed lessons are not guaranteed to be made up. The Instructor may offer a make-up lesson at her discretion and subject to availability.
LESSON-TIME SELECTION PROCESS
- Lesson times are subject to availability and approval by the Institute.
- I will receive confirmation once my lesson time has been approved.
LESSON FORMAT & TECHNOLOGY
- Lessons are conducted online via WhatsApp video call.
- The parent or student is responsible for initiating the call at the scheduled lesson time.
- A stable internet connection is required for all lessons.
- The violin and bow must be clearly visible in the video frame.
- Students must have their instrument tuned and ready prior to the lesson.
- Students should have sheet music and a pencil available.
- Sheet music may be shared with the Instructor in advance via WhatsApp when needed.
CONDUCT OF LESSONS
- Students must be present and ready at the scheduled time. Lessons will not be extended for late starts.
- Parents do not attend lessons.
- Other students may observe or participate in lessons as appropriate.
- Instruction may include physical guidance (hands, arms, posture) as part of proper technique and training.
- Lessons may include performance training, listening, theory, ear training, and other musical development activities.
POLICIES
- Consistent lessons are recommended for steady progress.
- Most students who progress effectively participate throughout the school year (September–May) and summer (June–August).
SCHEDULING POLICIES
- If the Instructor needs to reschedule a lesson, it will be moved to a mutually convenient time.
- If rescheduling is not possible, a $60 refund will be provided for that lesson.
- Lessons observe federal holidays, holiday breaks, and Osceola County school breaks.

THIRD-PARTY LOCATIONS, SECURITY, AND EMERGENCIES
- Students may participate in performances or events at third-party venues. These venues are responsible for their own security.
- I consent to emergency medical treatment, first aid, or transportation if necessary.
- The Institute is not responsible for any medical costs incurred.
VIDEO & EDUCATIONAL RECORDING POLICY
- Lesson recordings or instructional videos are for private educational use only and may not be shared publicly without permission.
RELEASE OF IMAGES
- I authorize the Institute to use photos, videos, or recordings for educational or promotional purposes.
Note: Consent to image use is optional and not required for participation.
LIABILITY RELEASE AND WAIVER
- I release the Institute, Instructor, and guest artists from any liability arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- This includes loss or damage to personal property.
- I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Institute from any claims resulting from negligent or intentional acts.
OTHER PROVISIONS
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If any portion is invalid, the remainder remains in full force.
